About us

The Swedish Choir of Brussels is an independent mixed choir that sings a very broad repertoire of classical, traditional, contemporary, and pop music, mainly in Swedish.

Rehearsals take place every Monday night, 19:30, at the Swedish Church in Brussels, Avenue des Gaulois 35, 1040 Etterbeek. Members of the choir are from different nationalities but speaking Swedish is an asset.

We take part in the traditional Swedish holiday celebrations such as Lucia or Valborg, and we also have an annual Christmas Concert as well as more theme-oriented concerts. We also go on rehearsal weekends together and have organised many trips, for example to Venice, Vienna, Paris, London, or Rotterdam. We also sing regularly in church services of the Swedish Church in Brussels.
